Get away from it all and take the green route.
Looking for a cycling itinerary for your vacation in Quiberon Bay?
Choose from cycle paths, mountain bike trails or the greenway between Quiberon and Etel.
Discover the Quiberon peninsula by bike from the dunes of Erdeven.
Following the wild coastline, you'll reach the peninsula and enter Quiberon, a bay cut off from the prevailing winds. For the return journey, board the "Tire-bouchon", the local train that runs all the way back to Auray.
Itinerary
From Erdeven to the Quiberon peninsula, safe country lanes lead you through the dunes, past the village of Sainte Barbe, the Bégo dunes and Fort Penthièvre. Cycle path along the D768 between Fort de Penthièvre and Penthièvre. At the end of the cycle path at the entrance to Penthièvre, take the seafront road.
Extreme caution when crossing the isthmus of Penthièvre on the D768.
At Kerhostin, take the greenway along the "Tire-Bouchon" railroad line, then leave it 1 km further on to join the wild coast. Shared road at first, then greenways to Quiberon.
